Job Title:  CaseSentry Quality Assurance Engineer

Status:  Full-time, long-term temporary position

• Position is expected to be needed for 6 months and may be converted to a full-time position

Job Location:  Syracuse, NY

The CaseSentry Quality Assurance Engineer will be involved with creating automated test scripts, testing bug fixes and new features, configuring systems for deployment, installing and applying patches to production systems, and product support. The CaseSentry Quality Assurance Engineer must be able to work in a dynamic environment and must have experience testing browser-based applications.

Knowledge and/or Skill Requirements:

• Linux
• SQL
• Windows
• Familiarity with automated Test tools

The following are general goals, objectives, major duties, projects and special assignment activities to be conducted by the CaseSentry Quality Assurance Engineer:

1. Work in collaboration with Lead QA Engineer to:
   • Program automated functional test scripts using Borland's Silk Test
   • Create fixed datasets along with calculated results to facilitate various functional tests
   • Create fixed datasets along with calculated results to facilitate testing of reports


2. Follow ShoreGroup Quality Assurance processes in the testing and support of CaseSentry and other related applications. This includes:
   • The necessary test process and templates, policy and procedures, tools and integrating industry quality approaches with current ShoreGroup business processes.

Education and Experience:

• Two (2) to four (4) years experience as a Software Engineer or Software QA Engineer
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering desired

Salary Requirements:

• Hourly rate will be commensurate with experience
