ShoreGroup's FieldWatch aggregates data received from multiple CaseSentry systems into a centralized management console that increases operational efficiency and the effectiveness of workgroups within service provider and major enterprise environments. Through this consolidated management portal, FieldWatch enables support groups to fully leverage the distributable properties of CaseSentry that allow multiple systems to be dynamically deployed by customer, business unit or geography.
Within the FieldWatch architecture, CaseSentry appliances deployed within managed networks operate on a completely independent and standalone basis and provide full management functionality. Qualified management events are communicated to a centralized FieldWatch system via secure protocols, where they are then shown within a Case List together with events from other CaseSentry systems. This innovative methodology is advantageous over the use of a centralized management system that monitors remote customer sites in that the customer's management database resides securely within their network, customers have complete access and use of their CaseSentry without concerns of other customers gaining access to it, and management data traffic is significantly reduced between sites.
