John McCarthy is responsible for all aspects of ShoreGroup’s business. He has over 20 years’ experience in senior sales, marketing, operations and distribution management roles. Prior to joining ShoreGroup, John was Computer Associates’ Vice President of Sales for Voice Management Solutions, where he oversaw the successful global launch of voice management products. He also served as CEO and President of Vitel Software prior to its acquisition by Concord Communications, and was Vice President of North American Sales at GeoTel Communications, which was acquired by Cisco Systems. Earlier in his career, John held senior positions at ROLM, Centigram, Cisco, IBM and Sprint. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Providence College.
Evan Lorch oversees ShoreGroup’s finance and accounting teams. He has nearly 20 years of executive leadership experience, with an impressive track record and a reputation for financial acumen. As a hands-on CFO, he has significant experience in mergers and acquisitions, capital and debt financing, and offshoring. Evan has been the CFO of numerous startups and private equity backed companies in industry verticals including financial technology, software and financial services.
Before joining ShoreGroup, Evan held Chief Financial roles at B2R Finance, CoreOne Technologies and BIDS Trading. He also served as an operational consultant for Marlin Equity Partners where he helped build the global finance organization for one of its portfolio companies.
Prior to starting his career at PwC, Evan attained a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an MBA from Cornell University.
Jeff Ortolano leads the sales and engineering teams for ShoreGroup. He oversees all aspects of sales operations and the solution architects within each technology practice. Since joining ShoreGroup nine years ago, Jeff has been pivotal to ShoreGroup’s expansion and driving substantial growth in the New York Metro market. Prior to joining ShoreGroup, he served as Client Director at Verizon Business, where he was responsible for supporting some of VZB’s largest accounts with strategic initiatives to increase Verizon’s collaboration, hosting and services revenues. Jeff holds degrees at both CUNY and C.W. Post.
Greg Brainerd is responsible for leading ShoreGroup’s Partner Alliances. Prior to joining ShoreGroup, Greg led Cisco’s partner services sales teams for the East and South Areas. Previously, Greg was VP of Operations for Argent Software, an international systems management software company; Director of Channel Sales with Vanguard Managed Solutions, the nation’s largest independent Managed Services Provider; and General Manager for Convergent Communications, a national CLEC after its acquisition of Classic Datacom which Greg had founded and grown into one of New England’s leading Systems Integrators.
Greg is a graduate of Virginia Tech.
Judith Brown has been instrumental in guiding ShoreGroup’s human resource policies and processes during a period of unprecedented growth. Judith has worked for over nine years at ShoreGroup where she has transformed our HR team, turning it into a strategic asset that puts employee needs and aspirations at the forefront, driving our continued success. Before this, Judith headed up human resources at A.K. Stamping, Inc., and previously held increasingly senior HR positions at Prudential Insurance and the International Bauxite Association.
Judith holds a Master of Science degree from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. She is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR), and is also an active member of the Society of Human Resource Management.
Susan Andersen leads the marketing and sales development organizations for ShoreGroup. Sue has over 25 years of marketing and business development experience specializing in channel, product, demand generation and content marketing.
Prior to ShoreGroup, Ms. Andersen was the Director of Channel Marketing at Empirix , Principal at Intersecting Marketing Group, and Director of Product Marketing at Computer Associates where she was responsible for support and launch of Voice Management solutions globally.
Before CA, she was a co-founder and principal at Vitel Software, prior to its acquisition by Concord Communications.
Susan holds a M. S. in Management Information Systems from Boston University and a B.A. in Business Administration from Providence College
