Job Title: Unified Communications Engineer
Status: Full-time

Job Summary:
ShoreGroup is expanding its Cisco IPT / Network Practice and is actively seeking candidates who have demonstrated progressive experience in troubleshooting IPT / network issues, providing customers with problem management / root cause analysis, and act as an escalation point for advanced Cisco IPT and Network issues.
- Job Duties:
- Broad experience in troubleshooting issues with the following is a must:
- Cisco Unified Communications Manager 5.x and above
- Cisco Unity
- Cisco Voice Gateways / Gatekeepers
- Candidate must have a basic knowledge in troubleshooting the following:
- Cisco Router and Switch methodologies
- Cisco Wireless Networks
- Cisco Security Products (ASA / MARS, etc.)
- Ability to work with little direction
- Ability to work weekends and non-normal business hours
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple issues simultaneously
- Ability to work well within a team
- Knowledge and/or Skill Requirements:
- Strong technical, client and customer relations skills
- Strong problem management skills
- Minimum 3 Years experience required with troubleshooting
- Cisco CallManager 5.x and above , Unity and Voice Gateways / Gatekeepers
- Minimum 1 Year experience preferred with troubleshooting:
- Cisco routing and switching protocols (IOS-based)
- Cisco Wireless technology
- Cisco security devices and protocols
- Knowledge of the following is a plus:
- Cisco Presence / Telepresence
- Cisco Meetingplace and Meetingplace Express
- VM Ware
- Education:
- College degree in Engineering or similar discipline desired but not required. Expert level experience may be substituted for a college degree.
- Cisco Certifications preferred:
- Cisco Certified Voice Professional (CCVP)
- Cico Security Professional (CCSP)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
