ShoreGroup has developed two unique program management methodologies that we use across our technology and services suite to tailor the implementation planning process to your
specific needs:

Our Compass methodology is optimized for agile or rapid implementation of new technologies, or to support the expansion of existing technology solutions for your business. It is ideally suited for point projects like a wireless LAN or a telephony rollout for a single building or campus. This methodology takes an iterative approach to the design process, combining discovery and requirements gathering with solution design. With a strong vision of the desired end state and business outcomes, the solution design is optimized and activities accelerate during the build process to reach done faster and with less risk. Deployment of the solution is completed in smaller waves or sprints to enable the team to make course corrections along the way. This ensures that the project meets your requirements, while being delivered on time and within budget. We leverage this methodology across all of the technologies we offer.
The Navigator methodology is tailored to the demands of large or complex deployments, where detailed discovery and requirements gathering is key to the success of the overall implementation. This methodology ties the requirements to the design and end results using our unique Traceability Matrix. Our Traceability Matrix is defined early in the requirements definition and is continually maintained as new requirements are discovered during the project lifecycle. The matrix is then leveraged to build the overall solution design to ensure it meets your objectives before the first component is built or configured. This methodology is effective with large-scale, multi-site/global unified communications (UC) projects, Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise (UCCE) implementations, as well as other projects with high complexity or long
deployment periods

The ShoreGroup Professional Services Advantage

Why does ShoreGroup consistently outperform the competition? We follow a highly structured set of processes that ensure total coverage, full visibility and complete continuity throughout each customer engagement. We tightly link your desired business outcomes to defined objectives, and back that directive up with experienced people who have the capability and scope to drive a project seamlessly through all its phases.
These phases include:

ShoreGroup starts by gaining a deep understanding of your organization’s business objectives and operational requirements for both the solution and its implementation. Our consultants start by conducting a holistic review of these requirements, and surveying your current environment with an eye towards improvements that can be realized. We then capture this information and generate a Traceability Matrix from your requirements — identifying dependencies, in technology, infrastructure and the business process required to achieve the goals. As part of the discovery phase, we also perform a gap analysis to identify whether your existing infrastructure is equipped to support your needs.

Our experts then map your business and operational requirements to specific technologies and architectures. This creates a blueprint that defines your solution and identifies how it maps to your current and future needs. Each component of the solution design is tied back to the Traceability Matrix that was defined during the discovery process to ensure that all of the business and technical drivers are addressed in the overall solution design. We leverage our best practices and industry guidance to optimize the solution architecture for availability, performance, scalability and security.

Following the blueprint, we then configure the selected technologies to create your solution. This process includes rigorous unit and stability testing to ensure these technologies are operating correctly and as designed. Your team will have the opportunity to participate in the build and learn new skills so they’re prepared to manage and operate the solution when deployed.

We then carry out validation testing of the complete solution to confirm that it meets the requirements defined in the Traceability Matrix and is ready for deployment. This includes component level testing, application level testing and customer acceptance testing. We work with you to define specific test cases based on how your users and customers will use the technology to ensure it’s ready for use.

Once the solution is fully validated, we deploy it in your environment following a well-defined plan that addresses each step of the cut process. This includes staffing, required production testing and back-out processes if needed. We provide comprehensive operational support throughout the deployment process, including ensuring a seamless technology transition with no disruption to your business services. We also provide user training to accelerate adoption and promote acceptance.

Finally, we ensure that the solution is fully transitioned to your support processes or our ShorePatrol managed services, guaranteeing a smooth shift from implementation to ongoing operation.
